Banker Steel announced layoffs of 115 employees on September 16, 2026. Banker Steel filed a New Jersey WARN notice covering 115 jobs at its South Plainfield fabrication plant, effective December 14. The Schuff Steel division is moving the work to a reopened plant in Clayton, Gloucester County.
