Conifer Health (Tenet) announced layoffs of 1,037 employees on September 8, 2026. Tenet's revenue cycle arm is cutting 1,037 mostly remote workers who report to the Dallas headquarters. CommonSpirit Health stops using Conifer on October 30 after paying $1.9 billion to exit the contract early.
