Health First announced layoffs of 214 employees on September 16, 2026. Health First cut 214 jobs, about 2% of its 10,350-person Brevard County workforce, mostly administrative and clerical roles. The system is ending its Hospital at Home program and closing the Viera site of its Integrated Care Program.
