MasterBrand Cabinets announced layoffs of 390 employees on September 30, 2026. MasterBrand is ending Value Semi-Custom cabinet work at its Kinston plant and shifting non-frameless production to plants in three other states. About 180 jobs stay at the site, which will make frameless cabinetry only.
