Omnicom announced layoffs of 15,000 employees on September 10, 2026. CFO Phil Angelastro told the Goldman Sachs Communacopia conference the group will shrink from about 120,000 staff to 105,000 by year-end. Most of the reduction comes from duplicate corporate and regional roles after the $13.25 billion Interpublic acquisition.
