Owens & Minor announced layoffs of 419 employees on September 16, 2026. A Virginia WARN notice cuts 419 jobs at the Avid Medical plant in Toano, effective November 25. Platinum Equity bought the Owens & Minor brand and its products business at the end of 2025.
