Swiss Life announced layoffs of 600 employees on September 1, 2026. The Zurich insurer will shed up to 600 roles by the end of 2028, split about evenly between its Swiss business and its asset management arm abroad. Roughly 100 are already gone through unfilled vacancies and most of the rest come from natural turnover.
