Procter & Gamble announced on June 5, 2025 that it will cut up to 7,000 non-manufacturing jobs, about 15% of its office workforce, in a two-year restructuring that runs through fiscal 2027. The maker of Tide, Pampers, Bounty, and Gillette is trimming office and support roles rather than factory jobs, and it flagged possible brand divestitures at the same time. The company employs about 108,000 people worldwide.
P&G pointed at tariff costs and slow US growth when it announced the plan, projecting a restructuring cost of $1 billion to $1.6 billion. Profits were rising at the time of the announcement. This entry tracks the full program; P&G has not broken out how many of the 7,000 have left to date.
